Admission Process

The application process at Little Elephant Montessori School consists of three parts:

  • Filling out an enrollment application
  • Attending an Open House
  • Scheduling and attending a personal tour

Application

You can download an enrollment application here. When you submit your application, please include a current picture of your child and a non-refundable $20 processing fee.

You can mail these items to Little Elephant, or bring them with you when you attend and Open House.

Open House

Little Elephant Montessori School will host Open Houses from Fall 2012 through early Spring 2013. Each Open House will be held on a Sunday from 10a.m.-12p.m. Anyone can attend an Open House. You do not need to fill out an enrollment application to attend. There will be a question and answer period with Little Elephant Founder and Director, Natanya Moore, at 10:30am. After the Q&A you will then be free to explore the school’s facilities.

You must attend an Open House in order to schedule a personal tour for you and your child.

If you have not yet, this is the time to fill out and submit an enrollment applications. The application will be available at the Open House.

You do not need to make an appointment to attend an Open House. All are welcome on the day of the event(s).

Open House dates for the 2012-2013 school year are as follows:

  • October 14
  • December 9
  • January 13

Personal Tours

Once you have sumbitted an application and attended an Open House, you can schedule a tour of Little Elephant for you and your child. These tours will be held from Fall 2012 through early Spring 2013, and will last approximatrely 30 minutes. On these tours, your child will be encouraged to participate in classroom activities.

Enrollment Notification

You will be notified by Little Elephant in early March 2013 as to the status of your application.
